Users on the subreddits had anticipated that eFootball 2025 would be released on “August 29th”. One Reddit user even went further to proclaim that the official eFootball 2025 release affirmed that “September 31st is the official date”. Another added that “or maybe early-mid September 2024.”

Some of the reasons why they suggested this date were because they thought maybe the developer, Konami, is making use of more time to develop some standard game modes for the new season. However, when we checked all these suggestions, we found that they were based on or came from the fact that previous eFootball series releases were released on similar dates. The eFootball 2023 Update was released on 25 August 2022. The eFootball 2024 Update was released on 7 September 2023.

There was, however, a difference between all of these and the actual eFootball 2025 release date as eFootball 2025 was released on 12 September 2024.
