The eFootball FIFAe World Cup 2024 is starting right up today, and this event is brought to you by the collaboration between eFootball and FIFA, the Federation of International Football Association, which is the global football body. Basically, what this competition is about is something I know some players really want to grasp—how they can enter the competition and gain more than enough resources. That’s exactly what I’ll be sharing here.

What Exactly is the eFootball FIFAe World Cup 2024 Competition About?

But first, before we go into all this, what exactly is the competition about? The eFootball FIFAe World Cup 2024 is an official competition, coming with collaboration from FIFA and eFootball. It features two different types of matches: matches played on console and on Mobi—that’s eFootball console and eFootball Mobi. For eFootball console, it’s a two versus two match, while on Mobi, it’s a one versus one team match.

So Now, Who Can Participate in the eFootball FIFAe World Cup 2024 Competition?

So now, who can participate in this eFootball FIFAe World Cup 2024 competition? According to the guidelines rolled out by eFootball, only people from four or three different continents can participate in this competition. These continents include Asia, America, and Europe or Africa. If you’re from Asia—specifically India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea Republic, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, or Thailand—you can participate in this competition. If you’re from the American continent, that’s Argentina, Brazil, or Costa Rica, you can, of course, participate. Then, if you’re from Europe or Africa—specifically England, France, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, or Turkey—you can participate in this competition.

What Countries Aren’t Eligible for eFootball FIFAe World Cup 2024?

Now, if you are not from these countries but still play football, you can also feature in this competition. However, you won’t have full-fledged access to play or participate as traditionally as those from eligible countries. So, this means your access to the competition will be limited if you’re not from the listed eligible countries.

For countries not eligible to participate, some of the reasons mentioned by eFootball include the lack of supported online services in certain countries, which is why they are not allowed to participate in the competition.

There Are Five Different Phases in This eFootball FIFAe World Cup 2024 Competition

There are five different phases in this competition: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, Round 4 (which is not necessary), the National and International Phase, and then the FIFA World Cup 2024 final phase. We’ll take each round one after the other so you’ll know how each round will go if you’re from any of these eligible countries.

For Round 1

For Round 1, you can use your dream team, and the event type is a challenge event where you play against an AI team. The competition is scheduled to run from the 10th of October to the 17th of October. To qualify for the next round, Round 2, you must secure two wins in this round.

Moving On to Round 2

Moving on to Round 2, you can continue using your dream team. The event type remains a challenge event, but this time it will be Player versus Player (PvP), not versus AI anymore. The competition timeline remains the same as Round 1, from the 10th to the 17th. To enter the next round, you need to clear a particular challenge called Challenge 4 in the challenge event.

In Round 3

In Round 3, you can still play with your dream team. The event type here is a ranking event where you play matches, and whoever ranks high enough will proceed. The date for this event is scheduled to span from the 19th to the 28th of October for the first batch, the 28th of October to the 21st of October for the second batch, and the 21st of October to the 22nd of October for the third batch.

There aren’t many guidelines or qualification conditions specified for this third round, so to enter the nomination round, the strategic guidelines for selecting players on a national level will be followed. This means you have to perform your best and win as many matches as possible. National identity will be selected by eFootball themselves, but if you’re a player using user-generated content, you might be restricted or disallowed from entering Round 3.

After Round 3, Don’t Forget to Register

After Round 3, you should ensure you register on official website at https://www.fifa.gg/. The competition administrators will inform you about the registration procedure via an in-game notification, meaning they will notify you in your eFootball 2025 game. So be sure to keep an eye out for this information and not miss out on the registration.

In the National Nomination Phase

In the National Nomination Phase, you cannot use your dream team but instead must use an authentic team. The event type is a friendly match. The competition schedule for this phase starts from the 28th of October and runs until the 12th of November. To qualify, each nation must nominate a minimum of two and a maximum of three players who use consoles, while only one Mobi player will be nominated on a national level.

For the Final Stage

For the final stage, which is the eFootball FIFAe World Cup 2024, you will be able to use your authentic team, but the event type will be specified by the competition administrators—both eFootball and FIFA—when the time comes. The schedule for this particular round has not yet been disclosed, as it seems they want to make it a final surprise for all players in the eFootball 2025 game.

To Be Eligible to Participate in the Final Phase

No players' rewards or prizes have been disclosed for the eFootball FIFAe World Cup 2024 competition

To be eligible to participate in this final phase, you will be informed individually through an in-game notification. There’s a big prize money awaiting the winners. According to information released by Konami, or eFootball developers, there are numerous rewards set aside for participants from the beginning to the end of the competition but none has been exclusively disclosed. One criterion for judgment is the number of goals scored throughout the event. Of course, how far you advance in the event will also be another determining factor.
