Konami has rolled out a new security measure for eFootball users in Japan after a maintenance update on September 28, 2023.

The two-step verification process mandates users to perform “Link KONAMI ID” and “Transfer data linked to KONAMI ID account” actions.

Konami‘s intention behind this enhancement is “to ensure the safety of your eFootball™ game account” and that has been incorporated into their latest series, eFootball 2024.

Once users opt for the two-step verification, a confirmation code will promptly be sent to their registered email associated with their KONAMI ID account.

However, if a user encounters difficulties in completing the two-step verification, they will be unable to finalize the verification process.

How To Complete KONAMI Two-step Verification on eFootball

To Link Your KONAMI ID Data:

1. Open eFootball game
2. Go to the Extras menu.
3. Select Support.
4. Select Link Data.
5. Select Link KONAMI ID.

To Transfer Data:

1. Open eFootball game
2. Go to the Title Screen.
3. Select the Menu Button.
4. Select Data Transfer.

How To Confirm and Check Your E-mail Address in KONAMI ID account

1. Open eFootball game
2. Go to the Extras menu.
3. Select Support.
4. Select Link Data.
5. Select View Linked Data.
6. Your KONAMI ID email address will be displayed.
